Star Wars: Do stormtroopers use light sabers?

Only the Jedi use lightsabers. Stormtroopers are not Jedi. Red goes with Vader or anybody who practices the dark side as they favor the "stronger" red crystal. Green, blue and purple go with the Jedi. Blue was Anakins first light saber (later Vader) later given to Luke Skywalker, with green being Obi Wan's saber. Purple is used by several of the Jedi
