How can I stop my daughter from trying to control her friend's?

It's very normal...mine is 5 too and she is the same...and so are all of her friends! They're just learning how to socialise still....it;s not a personality defect or anything...I see it time and again....my daughter has a friend over and she looks forward to it so much...but the reality of another child in her territory is hard...and the same when she goes over to her pals house. I just keep them busy...with organised crafts and then a visit to the park....I also just remind her in a pleasant way that "Anna is a visitor...that means that we have to be kind and look after her in an extra special way...anna's Mummy is not here so we have to be as kind to Annna as her Mummy is" that seems to get to her.
