Internet speed - 768 or 1024 Kbps?

I have always had 768 Kbps speed for my internet. I noticed today on their website they offer a faster speed, 1024 Kbps for only 10.00 more a month. I am thinking this may be a better option for me. On the internet I play games on a site called pogo.com, browse news, etc. I am also thinking about trying to watch movies on my computer through Netflix. So how much quicker will my internet be if I upgrade to the quicker speed and will I notice much of a difference with what I use the internet for. Thanks in advance, Heather
