I have nightly piercing pain in my right and would like to know why?

Don't worry it sounds like costocondritus which is when the costal spaces in the rib cage is inflamed. It can be really painful. Especially when lying down or on your side. In some cases you can just take Advil or Aspirin but don't take Tylenol because it does not contain ASA. Taking Advil or Aspirin will reduce inflammation and it might go away. If it doesn't go to the doctors and he/she will prescribe (most commonly Naproxin) medication to reduce inflammation. Now don't take my word for it I can't diagnose you online so go to your doctor, it also could be other things. This is the most common symptom of costocondritus.
