Starting problems with my laguna 2Lrt 1998?

I've not long had the clutch done on my Laguna, now it has problems starting, when i turn the key all the dash is on and all the electrics work but once i turn to start the engine it just clicks. And on other times it'll start up ok, There is nothing wrong with the starter! One minute the car starts then then next it won't and no electrics!!! "HELP"
